Question...
Did Jerry Erwin seal his fate in this upcoming election by voting in favor of this resolution to support Maury Regional Hospital over the proposed Spring Hill Hospital?
FYI...
The vote passed with ZERO no votes and one abstention, Ms. Cindy Williams.

Very disappointing vote. I think there is a jealousy built into Columbia folks against Spring Hill. They resent the good things happening to this great city and wonder where there future lies, especially when Spring Hill will dwarf them in size and possibilities.
Columbia, for the short term, is dead. Perhaps it will revive once Spring Hill just as Franklin has enabled Spring Hill's growth. Time will tell. IF Spring Hill forms its own county then say goodbye to Maury County as a whole.
I encourage all to take a long hard look at Mike Bennett. He's to quiet and his allies have much to be desired.
Has he or any candidate come forward with thier beliefs or views?
We know where Jerry Irwin stands.
Gorilla, maybe you can enlighten us.
Maybe Ron DeYoung can also help.
I've heard nothing good about Bennett. Zero.
I'm curious, has been a survey of Maury County Commission candidates, similar to the one given to Williamson County candidates?
There is an interview with Mike Bennett at http:www.maurynewsnet.com. Then click on the link to "The Stump" at the top of the page and follow it to the candidate interviews. Sorry it took so long to get these out.
Unfortunately only 17% of the 60 candidates running for County Commission and School Board in Maury County have chosen to respond to MNN's questions. The majority of the District 11 candidates have though.
Thanks!!
