It looks like Kroger has begun to respond with this form letter. For those of you that have sent this to me...thanks. So far, all of our letters match.
Again, I would really like to see Kroger stay in their current location. If they need to expand, they own everything around them as well, so knock a wall down and expand. If they want to move, I don't really have a big problem with that either, but if a low end store goes in that location, it will be a real shame, and KILL the property that surrounds that area. If Linens N Things, Bed Bath and Beyond, Office Depot, Staples, etc goes in there, it could be a really good thing for the area.
There is a very fine line here and I have seen certain segments of communities depressed very quickly because the wrong store was placed in it, killing all of the area around it for years. Hopefully Kroger truly wants to be "part of the community" and will realize that this is a bad move for everyone involved.

Mr. G,
I would really like to see Big Lots or a bowling alley move to the old Kroger space. This would allow me to purchase a Campbell Station home at a significantly low price. Bring it!
