Well, there is something VERY interesting that I intend to get to the bottom of, and if I find what I think I am going to, I am not very happy. We will see, but I do not ever want to hear "Woe is me" from a couple of people ever again!
If this article is 100% truthful, which I am checking into, I am fairly disappointed and a little bit confused at what is now being said. A couple of weeks ago, the offer was very different so some games are being played.
School site comes with a catch
Now, even with the cost being mentioned in the article, the new site is MUCH better than Cleburne Road, but I am a little bit upset about what I am hearing. With schools, these type of games should not be played. Everything that is now being said is 180 degrees from what I heard from the same people a few weeks ago. The School Board could now be entirely justified in building that school out on Cleburne Road if these games are going to be played at City Hall and by these developers. Again, we will see very soon if this is true.
MUCH more to come, but for now that is all.

The reason you are confused is because you lack the intelligence to simply do a little research. Quit being a puppet that is being feed answers by a current alderman.
Don't you think you just disqualifed yourself as an intelligent person by stooping to insults? Bummer for you, anonymous one.
anonymous - my question is why do people like you drop hints about having additional info about these things, but never seem to actually explain that information?
What kind of person holds out information to help the rest of us citizens understand what is going on in our city?
If you know additional info - share it, please.
Did Huntley's spokesperson stand in front of the Board and say that the land would be donated?
In front of the BOMA, the School Board and Channel 2 NEWS. This was said by Huntley as well many times.
Anonymous @ May 7 8:25,
Quit spreading BS, this is from the WKRN Channel 2 story:
Local lawyer and developer Huntly Gordon has offered land and/or money to the foundation for a future middle school.
He said, "With the formation of the Spring Hill Educational Foundation, there’s been two $400,000 pledges… we’re looking to either donation land and/or contribute funds to the Spring Hill Educational Foundation in order for the city to have a say at the county level where the school should go within the city limits."
The average price of land in Spring Hill is $60,000 an acre.
Gordon has offered 32 acres from part of one of his future developments to the city that continues to grow and outgrow even the newest of schools.
What did he say in front of the other two groups?
Lets be clear, Huntley did not offer offer the school board anything, he offered to SELL them land only if he gets his way
After the school board's performance over the past few months, I think there are going to be very few offers in the future, unless you are one of the "chosen ones"
They have handled this thing VERY POORLY from my perspective
You must be tied to one the offers which has all the strings attached to them, that no one wants to talk about.
